Congratulations, Pete. I am glad to hear that you are starting up in the business world. Don't worry about the modest beginning. Lots of companies start out as no more than a blip on the screen and then overnight they explode into financial giants. Now I know what you are thinking: how could I possibly stay ethical if that happens? Don't be daunted, the world of business desperately needs honest guys like you in it. I have been taking an interesting class in my last semester of law school, it's called Business Organization. It's all about how to legally build up a corporation. You learn an awful lot of how company directors can steal more money in a couple of hours, than 500 muggers on the street could in 50 years. However, I firmly believe that you are a man of integrity, Pete. I haven't a doubt in my mind that whatever you do will be honest, good for people, and creative. I wish you all the luck in the world. Who knows? At the rate my job search is going, I could come and be your legal counsel and we could stay out of trouble together. There's just as much temptation to harm in the legal world as in business, probably more. We just have to let our moral compass guide us.

Damn. We got second place. $3,000 bucks. Not exciting enough to proclaim i'm officially going to start a company. Not disappointing enough to give up. My future remains uncertain.

Want a laugh? Tomorrow, i will be wearing a suit and tie in order to make a formal presentation to a group of bankers and venture capitalists as the CEO of a company called SolHome LLC. This is not something i would have projected i'd be doing when i graduated from Knox, and i bet none of you did either.

I am NERVOUS AS HELL
