My power went out for three seconds on thursday. Did not know anything about it for half an hour until my mom came out of the house (i was painting the garage) and told me what was going on. We kept expecting it to go out at any time, but it never did. I don't know how we kept our power so close to New York while places as far away as Cleveland got hit. Personally, i was hoping for a blackout. They're the only times we ever get some real darkness around here. I like darkness from time to time. I did, however get the extreme pleasure of watching on tv all the flatlanders in the city running around like decapitated chickens and the extreme pleasure of watching our corrupt governor, Jim McGreedy get on the tv and announce a "state of emergency" and call in the national guard. What a fuckin' joke. Can you imagine?... half the world still doesnt have any electricity ever, and we go into a "state of emergency" without it. Something is definately wrong there.

Hey, was anyone effected by all that blackout craziness? If so, i suppose you can't read this yet. Respond when you can.
Pete, don't worry about the weirdness of your dream. I've had plenty of classic nightmares and dreams in my day. When I get back I'll tell you about a few of them and they will make you laugh about the absurdity of our minds as they filter out bad information in those little sequences called dreams.

Pete, I find your dream intriguing, rather than frightening. After reading all this Jung I really wish I had the dream interpretation expertise to deconstructe such an interesting episode.
