Well hello everyone. Happy December 23rd. It was a miserable rainy December 23rd here in the "garden state." I got soaked to the bone while doing some KKKristmas shopping. What is new in my life? My "business venture" seems to be a complete failure. Ebay was definately not the way to reach my target audience. So i have a really cool chair, a really cool coffee table, and no money at all. The only furniture that might make me any money is the bench i am currently building for Adam's mom.

To add to my feduciary troubles, i have put myself in trouble with the POlice once again. This time, i was caught driving in (extremely rich, extremely white, extremely exurban, extremely boring) Far Hills New Jersey at 2 in the morning with and overdue inspection sticker and cheap, meager, insufficient Illinois car insurance. Apparently, despite the advice of two insurance offices and the legion of cops who have pulled me over in the last 3 years, it is, in fact, illegal to drive with new jersey registration and illinois insurance. No big deal, you would think? Not in Far Hills. They impounded Derrick and dropped me off at the police station at 3AM with no ride. I was the only person in the building. I had to call and wake up my dad to get him to pick me up.

Tow and impound fees: $160
New inspection: $50
Ticket for expired inspection $130
New, New Jersey insurance $770
If i am found guilty of driving while not insured: -$330 (minimum) -1 year revoked license -30 days community service (in Far Hills? What would i do? My brother suggested i might have to mow the lawns of all the cops in Far Hills.)
Being able to officially change my state of legal residence in June: priceless.

Fuck small-town cops.

2 grad applications completely finished, but i still have 7 grad-application-essays left to write.

but its ok becauase i get to be in Michigan with Emily and piles of snow in 5 days.
