Yo everybody,
Phew! So the last week or so has been crazy! So we got our CD's in the mail, but not in time for our first show at the Big Gay Gala here at Knox. And speaking of that show, some weird shit happened, but the show ended up as a rocking affair. The anti-philosophy club was having their prom the same night, and somebody approached Chris with the idea that the two proms should be combined. Chris said yeah let's do that and have it at the Big Gay Gala. Well, apparently there was a miscommunication because the people throwing the anti-philosophy shindig were telling everybody that the event was going on at their house at that we were playing there at 11. Which was not true. Actually our show was starting at 10 in Post lobby and we thought Nightlife (who was playing at the anti-philosophy party) was opening for us. So the show had this awkward start of waiting around for people to show up from other various events (the jazz concert and formal dance concert were the same night) to figure out where the heck we were playing. Weird. But after it STARTED it went well from there. Yesterday, we were supposed to play at the Sigma Chi house on campus, but apparently you can't schedule any events on a finals day, even though we were set to play at 10 PM on the last day of finals. So that got canceled 8 hours before we were set to play, and we scrambled to find another venue. Turns out the senior bar crawl was going on that night, and Seminary Street Pub was a stop, so we ended up playing there, and we got paid $150 bucks. So we went from the prospects of playing a pro bono gig at a frat house that would have been packed with college kids to playing at a smoky bar with some college kids and some townies. A weird night, but fun as well. anywho, I gotta go take Christina to the airport. I know John, Pete, Christina, and I are already here for the Clinton Carnival, but who else is coming? Zach?
peace,
Adam

You guys, dancing is the best thing in the world. There is a great place for salsa about a block away from my apartment, and you can get in for free, and I know enough to have a total blast all evening. And I'm learning tango, which is a different kind of awesome. And I'm back to taking multiple modern dance classes each week. Once classes end for the year, I'm going to make some time to work on choreography again, too. Life is so good.
