Christina you said "marks" instead of "score" or "grade." What has that place done to you?

hello everyone,
I am just entering the seventh week of term so i am halfway finished! I can't belive that you guys are just finishing up at knox. I also can't believe that i am not going to be home for thanksgiving this year. i guess some of us americans are going to get together and cook but i have a feeling that i am not going to enjoy it as much as i would at my grandparent's house. i miss the smell of that house. i think i am going to go visit when i come home for winter break. my dad's dad just got out of hip replacement surgery, he fell and broke his hip. they didn't think that he was going to make it through the surgery as he IS 98 and all. I don't know how i'm going to react when he does die...
I don't know if i have told everyone but salinger is pretty much my favorite author at the moment. i want to read more but the book i want to read is checked out by someone and i can't get ahold of it. So i have been reading some Gogol. I haven't had as much time to read for fun because i have made friends and i have started to do some work. i mean i only have six weeks to learn it all right? i got full marks on my logic one exam and yesterday my lecturer actually spent the whole hour going over the exam. i was kinda annoyed that i came for nothing. i got to leave early because he said that those who did well coudl just leave. but then i just had to sit around until my next class. sheesh....
This weekend I went with the physics peoples to Braemar. It's out in the country and we did physicsey stuff. i mean we split into three teams and each team built a transmitter and reciever for moving pictures. it was awesome. Also on saturday we climbed up a huge hill. i was kinda dying by the end of it and my butt still hurts today. yesterday was worse i think.
also this: i-pods are a genious invention.
