Hey, if anyone has any good information sites/journals/books can you lay them on this blog.... i'd have absolutely no freetime on my hand, nevertheless i like keeping informed and all, so hit me with some reading material, k? thanks

Chomsky touched on a variety of subjects....how the media withholds the truth and in some instances out right lies....he talked about Iraq...said that no intelligent person thought that the world's only superpower wouldn't "win." Said that the Bush administration scares him more than Iraq....Said that he was being investigated by the Turkish government for i can't remember what something about nuclear weapons... Talked about how the government of France and Turkey (initially) were just practicing democracy when they chose not to support the invasion of Iraq because the majority of French and Turkish people were against the war....conversly Spain's government was acting undemocratically because a majority of people in Spain were against the war... Honestly, I don't think it was anything i haven't heard before, it was like listening to him read the "The Truth Behind 9-11" aloud. Read that book, then read War Talk by Arundahati Roy, if you have time there is always "The Best Money Democracy can buy" by Greg Palast
