1. Nobody told me that it was a suprise so you can't get mad at me for saying something that I assumed people were allowed to or already knew.
2. It is almost impossible to get a computer on campus on a thursday afternoon because there are classes in most of the labs.
3. It turns out that I would rather alphabetize cd's than write up my lab report.
4. I am trying to substitute "cheers" or "ta" for "thanks" because it sounds cooler.
5. I am about three weeks ahead in my logic class and everybody hates me for it.
6. Does anyone know an exercise that works your biceps that does not reqire weights?
7. Name this reference "There will be a sea battle tomorrow"
8. This is really wasting time now.
9. I am going to work on my lab i guess... or go eat...
10. Peace everyone

Rachel.... I think you know the kitty takes precedence over your "work." You know you want to..... So I spent a huge chunk of today looking at grad schools and they all seem to running together. First I'll be filling out their friggin paperwork, and then I'll pay them for it! Great.... what's cool is that my music and literature professor has so much confidence in my paper idea that she wants me to work on it extra to see if we can submit it to a conference where I would read it at the University of Wisconsin in Madison over winter break. Hopefully it turns out as good as she thinks it will be....

i am taking an unauthorized break to let you know that i think my camera is cool again. i got the camera software from home when i there last, and now my computer should be rigged with the necessary driver and such to deal with downloading pictures. so now if i can just find this so-called "free time" to come over and take pictures, i'll do so.

They had trouble recognizing the one minus sine squared equals cosine squared substitution! Jesus Kriste those people are friggin' idiots over there!
We can't send you a picture of the cat because we asked connie to send us one and she hasnt and no one else has a digital camera except for brenna, who hasn't even been to the p-house yet, and rachel whose camera isn't working at the moment... or something. I guess i can take a picture with my regular camera and send away for digital prints. Since Christina already ruined the surprise, yes Emily... the P-house has a kitten. Connie got him from a farm in Knoxville. He's tiny, white with tan spots and a tan tail, and rambunctious as hell. He's turning into quite a biter.

So someone should post a picture of the cat so i can see it. Also this. people here don't like physics. I can't figure it out. also the people who invited me to lunch the other day can't manipulate equations very well. i mean they had trouble recognizing the one minus sine squared equals cosine squared substitution and it took them 45 minutes to not finish a problem that i finished in 10-15min. it just makes me feel like they aren't trying. i know they can do it. that means they probably don't care very much so they probably will have a real tough time this year. I am finding the stuff we're doing pretty interesting anyhow. physics is still cool. i need to work a little harder though considering i feel like i didn't quite understand a few of the last lectures. I am going to see John in oxford this weekend so that should be fun. and then next weekend Jon E. is going to visit and then the next weekend it's halloween so I feel booked up. it's a nice feeling. I hope everyone is doing well over there on another continent... it's weird to think about isn't it?
peace
