mmm, blogger.

I have been bumming around a lot. I have so many projects started and in various stages of completion: screenprinting t-shirts, making hardcover books, sewing myself a new bag, ... I love summer. Last weekend I finished screenprinting a UCSD shirt for my dad. I went camping over the weekend, too. A bunch of people from their church that I hadn't seen in ages, and we sat around the campfire with question after question about San Diego and why the heck I'm going out there. I also wafted down a river in an intertube. twice.

I have an apartment in San Diego now. They are sending me the lease. It's on the second floor (which means a balcony! prime location for starting a potted herb garden!) and generally located in a kickass spot. It makes the move seem more real ... and it's just about a month away. It's funny, though; there isn't much holding me here except my family. I've seen some old friends, but they are also just passing through. miss you all.

First, i had to drive from Adam's house to New Jersey. That trip took about 18 hours this time because of traffic and other problems. Not bad compared to my parents who took 3 days as thier car broke down 3 times in 3 differents states. And some crook in Indiana told them he fixed thier car and charged them even though he didn't do anything at all. Back at home, ive spent lots of time hanging out with John. Sentencing is not until July 22nd. There will be a movement for retrial, appeals for lower sentences, etc. etc. I have no idea what the sentence might be. Neither do John or his lawyer. John is a fucking wreck to say the least.
On Friday i got to go into NYC and hang out with BenGuildehaus and his bro who were there on vacation. We wandered around central park, went to a comedy club, and spent lots of time goofing off in the subway. The coolest part was when i was waiting to meet ben outside of Penn Station and the Duane Reed (drugstore) caught on fire. NYFD sent seven trucks and put it out in under 30 seconds. Badass.

Ben wants in on this Blogger thing too, by the way, miss Christina.
Emily and i are heading over to the farm later today. I'm excited. We won't have internet out there, but we'll probably find our way to a computer on weekends, so we'll keep up with blogger... i think.

LOVE!
