I just experienced the cinematic event of the summer. ALIEN VERSUS PREDATOR!!! And let me tell ya, IT WAS AWESOME!!! For those of you enamored with science fiction, or those who simply love the thrill of a good killer flick should not delay in seeing this masterpiece. The premise of the story is quite simple: stupid humans discover ancient pyramid at the north pole where Aliens and Predators are matched in a battle royale. Actually, first the dummies trip the pyramid's mechanism to let the Alien larvae loose so they can use the humans as hosts to reproduce. Then, three Predators start the fight to prove themselves worthy of a place in their hunting society. An action packed speical effects thrill ride that can't be beat

Drew, you are more riddiculous than ever.

The crap in New Jersey has nothing to do with liberals and conservatives!
Corporations shipping off shores cannot be blamed on "Evil unions" but corporate greed to get every penny possible and in truth they are just doing what our capitalist values tell them they should do.

::Throws hands up in the air::

Off to my honors meeting

Ah Pete, you are beginning to see the corruption and decadence of the liberal bueracracy in this world. Stinks don't it? They construct all kinds of rules and regulations instructing what must be refrained from as opposed to what can be accomplished. That is in regards to those Union rules you mentioned. Now you know why movement of American commerce across the seas is not totally due to the "evil" corporations. It's also because we have fat and corrupt unions who monopolize labor and make the cost of it here unreasonable for a capitalist society. I'll explain why your distinguished leader's numbers went up. Number one, he had T.V. exposure. As a rule the more your face is on T.V. the more popular you can become in politics. Number two, the liberal factions of the media find it very brave that the man is coming out of the closet in front of all those cameras so they praise him. How brave of him to face public ridicule like that. We'll I've got a question. What about the small details of him facing a sexual misconduct suit by the very incompetent boob he hired to protect the state? What about his wife, or soon to be ex-wife, and children? If this were a Republican, he'd be crucified by now. Yet another example of how sexual misconduct is tolerated by the public in the Democratic party but not in the Republican. They killed JAck Ryan politically for less than this

Zach, which side of the American Status Quo Party would you have me vote into the Whitehouse?

Yes, the carpeting is going to happen. I had a little email conversation with Craig and Facilities services where i promised to refinish every floor in the house slated for carpeting before the end of the year if they spared the poor old place from remuddling and given they provide me with a sander and some polyurethane. Cheap as that carpeting is, it would have been way cheaper to have me refinish the floors for free than have facilities install carpeting. However, the reasons why this cant be done (ready for this Drew?)
1. OSHA regulations do not allow students to work on the house (Occupational Safety and Health Agency, U.S. Government)
2. Facilities' union contract does not allow "competition" from students

Just when you lefties are about to pull me over to your side, some shit like this goes down and hits me where it hurts: remuddling beautiful old houses. For shame! Mike Badnarik for president!

New Jersey now has officially taken the trophy from Louisiana for the nation's most corrupt, bizzare politics. After subjecting us to about a scandal a week for the entire duration of his term, after taking bribes from everyone in sight, after appointing an unqualified noncitizen to run homeland security... governor Jim McGreevey resigns because he had a gay affair????? He resigns, but declares he's staying in office anyway until November 15 even though both parties want him the hell out of there now so the voters can pick someone to replace him on election day! AND HIS APPROVAL RATINGS GO UP!!!!!! i just don't understand.

Pete, it looks as though your plea has come too late. Christina informed me that the carpeting will commence on Monday. Some spots on the floor do look pretty bad, although commercial-grade carpeting doesn't tend to make for a beautiful home. Ah well, there will be plenty of ways to enjoy the place. I hope to be hanging out there a good bit.

And my research! It's incredible. With only 30 participants, I have still come away with a good bit of statistically significant data! I'm plenty excited. Although in cramming for the GREs I've sort of set that all aside ... I hope to get the analysis done by the end of next week and then will just have a short paper to write. Hopefully it'll end up as a good, short writing sample for some of my grad apps.

Peter, I respect your right of choice but...

I feel that we will laugh now only to cry later
