Hello all,
It's been a while since I posted in this digital dimension but since Adam and Christina’s visit I've felt inclined to do so. First off, let me clarify that my psychological research which Adam explained as "manipulating the religious right" is purely exploratory and I have as of yet no plans to brain wash all inhabitants of the world...yet being the operative word. Secondly, I wanted to say that I'll be out in Galesburg for graduation this year. It'll be my first time back to Galesburg since graduating and I'm looking forward to seeing some of you peoples.
Ok, this next part is for Adam.
I want to start out by saying that when a friend gives me music he/she has created there is inevitably a rather striking bit of bias on my part. However, no matter how it sounds, one is generally inclined to laud praise based merely on the successful production of organized sound.
It is indeed quite rare that one receives music created by a friend from one's own lowly peasant class that actually rivals beloved music from the rock elite. In this case dear Adam I say with the utmost honesty that the cd you gave me is currently my favorite cd. This favorite cd status entails listening to the cd at least 3 times a day and placing various songs on mixed cds I'm composing for other friends. It only took three run-throughs for me to fall madly in love with your opus. I am particularly enamored with track 10 but I also enjoy track 11, 5, 6, along with the rest. However, I noticed that you do not have the lyrics posted for all of your songs and thus request you make Stan do so at her earliest convenience. I am truly amazed with your work and how far you've come.
I watched a documentary yesterday about Daniel Johnston called "The Devil and Daniel Johnston" and I am just wondering how long before you're famous. Although I do hope you can skip the whole manic-depressive breakdown part.
To everyone else I hope your travels through this world go smoothly, but not so smoothly that you forget the ride.
Sincerely,
-Z-
