i have a macaroni casarole thing and pizza and pie and soup and... well my aunt gave me two veggetarian cookbooks so i have one million recipies. there is even a recipe for veggie sloppy joes. so i think i am set. i think that you guys should come visit me. i want to show you everything i can at my humble home. also zach you should visit. how about after the 22 of august? apparently i am going straight from visiting adam to canada where i will go bar hopping with my dad, don't worry i don't have to drink, and to fairs and swimming and other family vacation whatnot. so hopefully all is well. i have a drum lesson tomorrow and i am totally not prepared, so off to do that. later all.

I'm workin on Chocolate Mouse Pie, Chocolate chip banana bread and cherry chicken. If you don't want to eat the chicken then surely the chocolate will suffice.

Adam, i think i can forgive you for not coming if you're going to write music, because that is a worthy cause. Christina, what think you? should we come out there?
hey! i believe it was agreed upon that we'd all come to school this year with 3 good recipes for Drew Dinners (now Townhouse A Dinners... doesn't have much of a ring to it). i've got mine: corn bread, tuna casserole, crepes AND blueberry muffins. that's 4. what've you guys got?

*gets down tonight*

I am also paying a miniscule amount for tuition next year, but I don't think I"m a gonna go on a road trip for a few reasons. I still need to pay back my parents for the guitar I bought in Spain, but that's not that big of a problem. I'm also out of Target on August 15 so I have plenty of time before school starts. However, I took that time off to do nothing but write music, because otherwise I will most likely spent this entire summer creating nothing which would be quite the drag. Christina and I have talked about me possibly flying into Seattle maybe a week before she has to come back to school, but I"m not sure if that will happen yet. ON other topics, I talked to my guitar teacher who was a judge in the Battle of teh Bands thing and even he said we got shafted. He said he placed us in the top three, so the other two judges must have thought we had the talent of a monkey holding a cymbal. I have also been to more music stores in the past 3 days than ever in my life because I was helping my friend james buy a new amplifier, and he is the pickiest boy on the face of the planet, basically he wants to sound exactly like Jeff Tweedy from Wilco, which aint' all that bad.... I played instruments that were basically worth more than my life as well which was quite titillating. at work I am lifting heavy things all the time so muscles are going to be bulging out of my neck the next time you see me because I'm so ripped.... not really but, phew, lifting.....

POOL PARTY!!!!!!!!!!! I have not been to a pool party for YEARS!! Jon G.(yes like in memento) is having a pool party for his B-day on friday. pool pool pool! *does a little dance*

Hey Christina, I'm putting together the cd with Devesh's music for ya but I need your address.

ahhh smc. it can own your soul if you let it. be careful.

yeah, Amy, we got home late- probably 11:30. catch you later, then!

in other news, Galesburg is being rained on in cats, dogs, and buckets. went for a walk in it yesterday with Justin and the water had reached up & over the curb and onto the sidewalk. no kidding. i stood in it -- about 6 inches-- and watched how, as cars drove cautiously by, the waves they made would lap almost to the buildings themselves. amazing. 100% chance of rain today (i can hear thunder outside right now), and Marcie from yoga said that the cold front we're having (finally! after these 100-degree heat index days!) might bring us a few rotating clouds. nice. while i'm waiting for the flood/ cyclone, i'm going to spend the day in Stellyes lab entering lots & lots of data. packing myself a lunch, even. everyone knows the weather doesn't mess with nazi buildings. i'll be safe. yes.

Emily, Sorry I missed you in the burg... I dropped by around ten, and ended up just crashing and I had to leave the next morning. Ah vell, i will visit again fall term...

mmm, heeeeathens! i was a methodist! hehe. i've recently discovered that the unitarian universalists are damn cool people. in their services they talk about such topics as solstice, diversity, and globalization. they also apparently have awesome philosophical discussions after seeing movies. i need in. and i suppose i'm late in noting that i'm not in the 'burg, i'm in iowa city this summer.

em, i'm jealous of the small amount that you owe our fine institution. i'm watching my college funds quickly drain away, horribly NOT aided by our current economy. *le sigh* oh well. and goodness would i like to road trip with you ... but *refers back to previous couple of sentences* i don't think it'll be possible. :(

oh so much yearning for bumbershoot.... so many bands.... so many films.... so much goodness.....*she proceeds to drool all over the keyboard renering it inoperable*

Emily says:
woohoooooo!!!! financial aid says i owe them very little money this year, which means i can afford the long roadtrip to Washington :) i'm talking to Christina, and she's raising a few questions, though... she still wants to go to Bumbershoot, in which case she couldn't drive back with us. also, her family might be going to Alaska in August, in which case she might not even be around. from what i remember, Adam was leaning toward not coming. SO, i'd like to hear more talking about this. Pete? would you want to go & just visit? Adam? would you want to go? anyone else want in on this?

i think people who are using macs have problems because I (christina) was using the computer Zach was using and had trouble seeing people's names, weras when i came home and used PCs i can see everyone quite well. so that is my opinion. the end.
