Congrats on the internship, Drew! Real life lawyer work. crazy. Christina, you should obviously do something that will make us end up living closer together. Whatever that might be. I suppose it would help if I knew what *I* wanted to do. Speaking of which, I'm interviewing next week for a part-time job doing administrative work for a dance company. How cool is that?? Super cool. I'm ready to get me the heck out of school, at least for a while, and hopefully into a dance studio more often. I have to enjoy my youth. ;) But not until my thesis is done and I know I'm getting this degree. (man oh man, why can't it just finish itself?)

Work hard, play hard! That's the way to go. My father is near 60, but he can swim for two hours and out do most men our age. It is all a matter of mind, will power. Adam, how goes it? I went home recently for Spring Break, but I didn't get a chance to call anybody. I've been preparing for a big mock trial. Christina, do whatever makes you the happiest and offers enough money to live on. Pete, if Christina does not find a solution to her career choice, then build a commune for her. Meanwhile, I am still on my way to becoming a scum bag lawyer :) My mock trial is a police battery case. I'm supposed to put a guy away for beating on a cop who was arresting him for DUI. It's a fictional case, but I get to handle real cases this summer as the new intern with the Illinois State's Attorney's Office in Kankakee! I'll be handling misdemeanor cases but it's still real life. Hope all of you are well. Sorry I haven't said anything for awhile.

Lend you my youth? I just turned 25, man, a QUARTER CENTURY, as both Emily and Rachel were so kind to point out. I think the fountain of youth is playing. The only reason why infants don't sprout beards and start carrying briefcases is because they play all day. It's true. It's SCIENCE! (I leave the definition of "play" intentionally vague.) But yeah. I feel like i'm getting old. I face the prospect of working in an office in Galesburg this summer. I'm not sure how i feel about this. I will tell more if i actually take the job. Christina, clearly you should go live on the hippie commune in the woods.

I don't think you have to be 27 to feel old. I only feel old when i have responsibilities. Do you have such things? I can lend you some youth if you figure out how to extract it you will be a millionare and then you can be young and rich! I have a cold, maybe a fever.
what should I do next year?
Physics grad school (Indiana University, Oregon State)?
Work for the seattle science center (travelling science bus)?
Work on a farm (how long will it be before they kick me out anyway)?
get a "real" job (who knows what this means)?
try to go to school for library sciences?
radiologogist?
Go live with my crazy cousin on his informal commune in port angeles and be a real hippie?
Other suggestions?
I need to sleep now. sickness taking over......
