correction:
our new address is going to be: 2630 County Route 1, Port Jervis, New York 12771

write to me!

I just had a random thought: Who has the middle name book? Would that person be willing to, say, type up the middle names and send out the collection to people? I came across something similar from high school, and it was hilarious to look back on ...

Two new pieces of news to report.

First, the good news. We love the new farm. It's every bit as cool as we expected. We harvest lots of garlic. Really, really good garlic.

Second, the bad news. For those of you lucky or unlucky enough to know John David Butcher or to have heard the stories, he was sentenced to seven years in state prison yesterday. He is currently serving in the county jail awaiting appeal. There is a chance of parole in 18 months, but i'm not quite sure how that works.

Two more weeks on the farm, and then i head back to Illinois.

So, I have five days until I move to UCSD. crazy.

It is all becoming very real, too. I have a new phone that is local to that area. I have an apartment, which I'm super excited to get into. I'm almost entirely packed. I have a bunch of information about classes and life in my department, and I'm pretty sure what I'll be taking this fall. And last night it hit me (again) that I won't be back at Knox this fall. That's just a weird feeling.

My new address will be 4043-H Miramar St, La Jolla, CA 92037. My phone number is 858.220.2655. I'm still checking my Knox mail, but soon I'll be switching entirely over to myfirstname.mylastname@gmail.com (with my actual names in there, of course). Haha, I hope there aren't any creepy people stalking this page! Anyway, if you want to get in touch with me over email, you might want to do it in the next few days. I don't know how soon I'll have internet access set up at my apartment, and I don't think I'll have the time to get online on campus for a while. Hopefully I'll send out an email or two in the next few days, as well ... we'll see how crazy things get between now and when I move.

moving. moving. west coast. eep.

I will be in Italy tomorrow. I met up with my family fine and they are all lame and jetlagged. Maybe I'll go swimming ( : I wish I had exciting stories to tell but the best I can come up with right now is that I was down on the beach and then just as I was heading back it started to pour down rain. This of course is when I was wearing the only clothes that I had because my luggage was missing. I was soaked on the front half of my body and the only thing I could think to do was to laugh hysterically until I started shivering a lot and went back to get dried off. ( :
I hope everyone is having a fabulous time at the moment.
Peace
Christina
