well, i think we might be able to hook up the washer and dryer in place of the ones there already, if they happen to be the same types that are there now, and we pay close attention to how they are hooked up before we take them away. If the dryer is gas powered, then we can't use it. I'll kick some money for trucking stuff over to Knox, but i can't pay now. I'd have to owe you.

Adam, I would be happy to filter you some cash, but can we install the suckers once we get them down there? What was my room number again by the way? I will do what I can to help clean up when I get down there. Has anyone seen Spiderman 2? Awesome show, you should see it if you haven't. Take care y'all.

Hello everybody. Hey, my Aunt Judy is moving and she has a washer and dryer that she is willing to give to me for free. Problem is, it cost a lot to get it to Galesburg. Would people be interested in having this instead of paying a butt load for laundry all year? If I could get something like 5 to 10 bucks from a few people to help defray the cost of the truck that we'll need to rent to drive it there, then I think I'll go for it. Also, I think I got us a nice kitchen table and some floor lamps for free! Yay for rummaging people's houses when they're cuttin out. Anyway let me know
Adam

Emily wanted me to go visit her in Massachusetts for a nice long 4July weekend, and i, in an attempt to not support terrorism and global warming through gasoline purchase, i decided i would utilize the Northeast's extensive mass transit systems. This was way more complicated than i intended. Some friends drove me to Chinatown in Manhattan, home of the FUNG WAH bus company that will take you to Chinatown in Boston for $10. That sounds like quite a deal, but have you ever sat still on a bus for five hours surrounded by 70 Chinese people? Emily's farm is a 90 acre organic farm run by a husband and wife and Emily. No other employees, but somehow they manage to produce: stawberries, raspberries, sweet peas, carrots, onions, garlic, spinach, a few kinds of lettuce, arrugula, tomatoes, zucchinni, cucumbers, peppers, apples, pears, peaches, firewood, maple syrup, honey, milk, cheese, cream, ice cream, yogurt, eggs, chicken, wool, beauty, and much, much more. My man-quiche never tasted so good as with farm-fresh eggs, cream milked that morning (by hand) and fresh farm veggies. And i can't even begin to describe the wonders of the strawberry shortcake made with the freshly ground cornmeal... drool... The other highlight of the weekend was the beautiful swimming hole in Fitchburg, Mass, where some little kids convinced me to jump off a 15 foot cliff into a small pool surrounded by rocks at the bottom of a waterfall. A good weekend. Until Monday when i found the FUNG WAH bus booked for 5 hours. So i wandered around Boston in the rain for an afternoon. God, that is one confusing city. Even someone with a sense of direction could get lost there... and i have none of that. Cool place anyway. After scoring the last (and worst) seat on the 5:00 bus, i sat in between a snotty chick and a caribbean guy who diddn't speak much english, until 9:30, when they dropped us off in some part of Manhattan i am completely unfamilliar with. I eventually found my way to the subway, Penn Station, Newark Penn Station, and Plainfield. The trip took a total of 14 hours. Driving, it takes 6. At most. Damn principles to hell.

Heelooo,
Adam and his mom and I broke into the Pete house so that she could tour it. oh man is it messy. we have a lot of work to do. it could be such a beautiful house with a little work. well I'll clean as best I can when I move in on the fourteenth. back to work. sheesh, it never ends!
