Drew, i have no doubt in my mind that you will become a very rich and very powerful lawyer no matter what your scores are and no matter what school you go to. Everyone on this blog would agree that you have many intangibles that do not show up on applications, but will make you a tremendous lawyer.... ... ... ... now, whether or not that is a good thing for society... i won't say at this time.

When the going gets tough the tough get going. That's what I firmly believe in and I'm glad of it. I recieved my LSAT score in the mail and I got a 146. Only four points more and I would've been at 150 which is the dead center. As such, it will now be difficult to sell that score on the apps I send out to the law schools. Yet I have no far that I will get in somewhere because of schools like Valaprasio in Indiana as well as Southern Illinois University. These places look at all of you and not just that stupid number a bunch of bueraucrats try to scan onto your forehead. Needless to say, I will be trying to get a higher score by taking the LSAT again this October. However, I will be sending in my apps with the original score and hope they won't wait list me like poor ol'Ms Caucus (winks at Emily). I hope they will judge me by G.P.A., reccomendations, and my desire to be a lawyer which burns like the bright stars above. I know this may sound corny coming from a Republican, but I really want be lawyer so I can help people with the problems of injustice. I just want my chance

hey guys! i'm sitting in my favorite internet cafe in the middle of town. i had the best first week in barcelona ever! matt and i wandered all over the city: to the park, to the castle on the sea, to the church on top of a hill that has an incredible view of the city and the mountains on the other side, to the beach, to various awesome museums, and to some lovely restaurants. we chilled out and generally had a kickass time. :) i'm now ready to get to work on my research, and i at least have surveys that have been checked, corrected, and are ready to go. unfortunately, i slept in today and didn't have a chance to go talk to the person i wanted to about getting participants for the survey ... but i'll do that tomorrow. i think that between the two language schools that i've heard back from as well as some random contacts that Robin has, i should be able to at least get SOME participants. and you know, at this point, it doesn't much matter to me. if i don't end up with great results then that's that ... i will at least end up enjoying myself in Barcelona. now, i just have to find ways to keep having fun all by myself in this big city.

oh geez less than 15, I thought 10 at the most but anything between 5 and 10. By the way, when a 20 inch water pipe bursts that was 80 years old and also is essential to provide 70,000 people with water, chaos ensues. yep, it's been a busy two days in the news in kankakee. People just panicked. But it's kinda fun that way because a whole bunch of news angles open up when people get as crazy as they do. Plus I wasn't inconvenienced because Kankakee doesn't provide Clifton's water. So ha ha city folk.
Later,
Adam

oh, and i'll probably chip in for our own clothes washers. kinda depends how much. Adam, are you talking... $15ish? how much do you think it would cost each of us?

hey all. this week's lesson: garlic harvesting :) yet another thing i'm adding to the list of things i'd like to grow myself someday in smaller quantities. mmmm, garlic.

just because i'm off on a farm this summer doesn't mean i'm missing out on what's going on in the world. nope, Jacqui and Dickie get The Rag of a Newspaper delivered to them daily, and now i'd like to know what people are thinking about this silly constitutional amendment for the banning of gay marriage. because wow. *shakes head*
