This week started with me getting up at 4:00 Monday morning to get Emily to the train station... to move to Utah. Since then, i've been having horrible dreams every morning right before i get up, my stomach hurts non-stop for some reason, my bike has a busted spoke so it feels like i'm always riding uphill, i totally forgot to go to a class i was supposed to teach on wednesday, the department network deleted a paper i was writing, and now i'm reading the Worldwatch Institute's State of the World 2005, which is the most depressing thing i have ever set eyes upon. How are you all?

Here I am in the crowded computer lab in seymour thinking about doing work. I have a Take-home exam that the class has estimated will take ~10 hours to complete. I think I probably won't spend THAT much time on it because I have decided that it won't be as hard as we have made it out to be. I have read the questions but Have not started any of them. We have however cleaned the livingroom and the dining room and our bedroom. and chris' bedroom. plus I am doing laundry. I think it will all be okay.
To answer Keith, Adam and I are both postbacs here in Galesburg until the end of the school year. I am probably going to grad school next year. I got accepted to Washington State U and Oregon State U both with teaching assistiantships. I have not gotten official word from oregon state, just an e-mail, and I haven't gotten official acceptance from washington state but I have gotten a teaching assistantship and a research assistantship. the ta ship gives me ~1200 dollars a month and the Research assistantship is ~ 1500 a month. I am thinking about deferring for a year but I really don't know at this point. I am going to go visit places after spring break so hopefully I will have decided by then.
The show last night was fun. We are big dorks and made a ton of mario references and a zelda reference. I even dressed up as princess peach.
I hope everyone has a good week. I am going to spain and I am REALLY excited, especially because adam knows cool stuff to go see!

My darling Emily is gone. Alas alack. Stolen away to the mountains by the diabolical Lin-z. I would be more upset, but i have a soft little kitten purring in my lap, so that's pretty much impossible.

i'm leaving for Utah tomorrow! i get to see the Rockies! i have to say goodbye to Peter!...:( Lyra is sitting between my hands as i'm typing and i can't see anything! but she's happy & purring so it doesn't matter.
